January Sunrise

The sun rises at 10 AM in January in Anchorage. No need to get up early to catch the alpine glow. When the trees are coated with ice crystals, they echo the colors and make winter magical. This painting is a studio version of a plein air study painted indoors at O'Malley on the Green Restaurant in 2020.
