Reflections on Silver

This still life was painted as part of the January 2022 Strada Easel Challenge, to draw or paint from life daily for 31 days. I wanted to experiment with color and reflections, so dug out my mother's sliver plated tray and rummaged around in the refrigerator for paint-worthy items. This was great fun to paint the illusions of metal reflections as well as a hazy mirror quality of the vegetables on the tray.
